“I am sending this to you because Julia Sharp needs our help. As many of you know, Julia works tirelessly to save and place animals from Rowan County, a rural county in KY, as well as those from other counties. Her ability to continue doing the good she has done is at serious risk. Someone has sued Julia because of her animal rescue and advocacy activities. She really needs our help defending the suit. If she does not defend the suit, she is at risk of losing everything, which means she would be unable to continue doing all that she does for the animals. She has an attorney, but funds are desperately needed to help pay the costs associated with litigation. If you can donate anything, $5, $10, etc. I know she would greatly appreciate it [as would the animals that rely on her to survive].
